Dorothy Ann (McIntosh) Fross

Dorothy Ann Fross, 70, Topeka, formerly of Hays, died Friday, September 2, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services, Topeka.

She was born July 4, 1946 in Hays, Kansas the daughter of Walter and Olivia “Olive” (Rupp) McIntosh.  She worked as an office assistant for Dr. Cramm and also delivered flowers for Dillons.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and lovingly took care of her parents at the end of their lives.  She loved her pets, enjoyed going to the Senior Center, and helped with bingo for the Cancer Society.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son, Kevin and wife Laura of Topeka, two brothers; Charles O. McIntosh of Great Bend, Walter F. McIntosh of Larned, two sisters, Wilma Jean Berger and husband Fred of Great Bend, and Agnes Hammerschmidt of Hutchinson, two grandchildren; Tamera Fross and Blaine Fross of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Friday, September 9, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 215 W. 13th, Hays.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Allen Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday and from 9:00 until 9:45 am on Friday, all at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine St.  A parish vigil service will be at 6:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains in care of the funeral home.  Condolences may be left at www.haysmemorial.com
