Reading this obituary took me back to my childhood in the First Christian Church in Atwood. My memories of Doyle are of someone who had a deep and genuine love for people of all ages. He was a wonderful teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ ... not only by word, but by example. When I picture him in my mind I see a big infectious smile and a teasing twinkle in his eye. Though I have not seen Doyle, Loraine or their adorable girls in many years, the impact of relationship on my formative years was and is a treasure to me. I must add that I cannot think of Doyle without memories of my beloved childhood friend. Mary Beth Argabright. May they both soar on angels wings and brighten the space they now occupy as they brightened my youth!

I can't remember when or how, in my childhood in Atwood, I became aware of Doyle but our friendship always included lots of teasing. Then I came home from college one time and found that he and Jan were our neighbors. He was a warm fun-loving guy. I'm glad our paths through life crossed!

My prayers go out to all of the family. There are great remembrances of Doyle as a banker while I grew up in Atwood and going to school with his daughters. He was a great example for having a wonderful wife and family.

Loraine, Jan, Judy my sympathy at the loss of Doyle. I meet you years ago when Mitchel and my son Scott were at Lincoln Grade School and I worked at JM McDonalds company. You and Doyle would stop to visit on Sat. nights when you were in town. It has been a pleasure knowing you both and of course both girls. Rest in peace my dear friend. Wanda Billinger
