Henry Lamar Glisson, 69, Stockton, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville.

He was born October 3, 1948 at the family home in Toombs County, Georgia the son of Eugene and Juanita (Pittman) Spore.  After his service in the military he became a truck driver and spent many years traveling the country behind the wheel of an eighteen wheeler.  It was Henry’s true passion in life.

Survivors include three sons; John Glisson of Independence, MO, Jack Glisson and wife Kris of Stockton, and Joshua Walters of Wichita, two daughters; Robyn Slate and fiancé Nate Morrison of Garden City, and Angel Amlong and husband Jason of Stockton, seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, his step father; Wayne Spore of Plainville, four brothers; William, Stacy, Jeff, and Al Wayne and four sisters; Yvonne, Winnelle, Selina, and Kim.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy, Grandpa and Grandma Pittman, his parents, and by two brothers; Bill Tomlin and Phillip Spore.

A celebration of Henry’s life will be at 2:30 pm on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Lakeview Christian Church, Stockton.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.haysmemorial.com.
