Dear Chris and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family with the loss of your mother. I remember her being such a wonderful and nice lady. Your whole family was lucky to have her in your lives for a long time, 91 yrs. old, wow, that is alot of years. It is hard to let go of a loved one especially a parent. But she and your dad will be together watching over all of her family from the floors of Heaven. Time helps in the healing process, so talk about the great memories you have and that will help. Treasure them. I am praying that God give each of you strength and guidance to help you through this difficult time, may God Bless you always. your friend, Annette Wooldridge

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family these past few days. Aunt Arbutus was a wonderful lady that will be missed by all. I remember all the times we stopped to see her when we came to Hays to visit Grandma Schuvie. May wonderful memories help to ease your grief. Love to all.

Chris, Pam and Judy,

Reading of your mother''s passing today in the Hays newspaper took me back to the days of my girlhood in Hays in the 1950s. Your sister, Karen, and I were best friends throughout our high school years, and as I lived only afew houses down from your parents'' home (on Mission Mount), I spent a lot hours at the Schuvie home. I remember your mother fondly, just as I remember the three of you, your Dad, Greg, your Grandmother Jessie, Kathleen, Mildred, and Vicki and Selma. Of course, Karen''s death left a gap in my life which has never been (and can never be) filled. What wonderful years those were.

Please accept my sincere condolences on this new loss in your family. Your family is among my nicest childhood memories.
