Greta Schaffer-Worman, age 75, of Casper, Wyoming died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.
Greta was born November 29, 1936 in Hays to M.M. and Mary E.. Moore. She loved sewing, gardening, and her cats. She made custom draperies as owner of Greta’s Custom Interiors.
Survivors include her children, Pamela Derby and her husband, Keith, Cynthia Hanson and her husband, Perry, and Virgil Schaffer, Jr. and his wife, Becky, all of Casper, Wyoming; her sister, Louise Kertz and her brother, Millard Moore and his wife, Gladys, all of Kansas; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil Schaffer, Sr. and Tom Worman; a son, Timothy Schaffer, her parents; brothers, Kenneth Moore and Milton Moore; and her sister, Eileen Yarnell.
Memorial services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Allen Cemetery in Hays.
