I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Dear Jerry and Kent and family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. I sent a card and something for the art department fund. But you won't get it before the service today, so I wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you.
Warmly,
Lucy

On behalf of Wilma Seuser and her family we send our condolences. Darlene was a delightful, fun person and it was always a pleasure to visit with her. It is wonderful to know that she has graduated to heaven and is with Dale once again.

To Kent, Jerry, and family
Dale was my cousin an I enjoyed talking to Darlene also. She was such a wonderful person and I will miss her very much!
Since she died on Thursday, I assumed her funeral would be on Monday and details would be in the Sunday paper about when the funeral would be. I was shocked to find that it had already been held on Friday, otherwise I would have been there. I'm so sorry I missed her funeral and would have liked to talk to other family members at the funeral. But anyway, you all have my deepest condolences and I'm sorry I didn't get to visit with her that much. Time gets away so quickly I just haven't had time to do a lot of things I wanted to do after I'd retired. Visiting with her was one of the things I wanted to do.
I know she's with Dale now and in heaven and that she is in the palm of God's hand.
Blessings to you all.--Judy

Dear Fickens,
I'm sorry to learn about Darlene, but that's a great picture of her online. Always a smile. I moved to Lawrence in 2001 to help with health issues in my family, but I come to Hays at least twice a year. Hays art is the best! I enjoy Dale's "Emergence" every day. Somehow I can't help wondering if you ever found that snake that got lost in your home a long time ago.
Love,
Nancy
