Dustin J. Lohrmeyer, 29, Hays, died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in Russell County, Kansas.

He was born June 5, 1990 in Garden City the son of Michael and Janelda “Jae” (Hazen) Lohrmeyer.  A cook at Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom in Hays, he enjoyed cooking and grilling, dogs, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his father; Michael Lohrmeyer of Hays, three brothers; Daniel Lohrmeyer and wife Tina of North Carolina, Dannie Lohrmeyer and wife Jazmine of Hays, and David Lohrmeyer and wife Sarah of Centennial, CO, a sister; Danielle Eitzmann and husband Leon of Belleville, paternal grandparents; Gale and Janice Lohrmeyer of Logan, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Jae Lohrmeyer, and by maternal grandparents; Billie and Wanda Hazen.

A celebration of Dustin’s life will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine Street, with Pastor Wes Oakley officiating.  Inurnment will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan, Kansas.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Oxford House Kratos, 2401 Lincoln Dr., Hays, Kansas.  Condolences and memories of Dustin may be shared with the family at www.haysmemorial.com
