Though I only met Janet a couple times, my daughter is married to her son, Alek. She was a very kind woman who really enjoyed helping others. She loved to help plan the wedding of my daughter as well as spending time with Brantley and accepting him from the first moment they met. Janet treated me and Bub with great acceptance and gratitude. I will remember her for sure. Many will miss her and her smile and gentle personality.

Janet was a very sincere, lovely, caring, genuine person and it was my absolute pleasure to get to know her a little through being her hairdresser in Spearfish. I'm so sorry for her family and cannot imagine the terrible grief you're all feeling. She spoke very highly and lovingly of all of you. She was so happy to be of help in any way, and her compassion for others really shined. Please know your family is in my prayers.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful, kind, sweet lady with me that I'll forever call my best friend. My many memories I have growing up with her are things I'll never forget. I was really happy to share her talent of singing when she sang at my wedding. Many more things can be said but knowing her and being her friend is the greatest treasure ever. My heart is so sad hearing of Janet's sudden passing. She was a dear friend and I will always remember her for her open arms, warm smile and laughter. No doubt we shared a few tears together, too, but Janet always found a way to help. My prayers are sent to Chris and family that the memories of all she gave in this life will bring some comfort and peace. RIP dear Janet.
