I worked with Scott at Hillside and he was such a good guy, he always jumped right in and did what needed done without any complaints, my thoughts are with his family. He also happened to be living in my grandmothers previous home and one I started life in so I had to give him a hard time about that! RIP Scott you will be missed.

Message from Haley Clark

My earliest memory of Scott was when he (accidentally!) helped give me a black eye. In more recent years, it has meant a lot to me that he always made time to see me when I was in Hays visiting. He was a kind man, with a big heart. His love of dogs especially endeared me to him. Sending big hugs along with my love from Sierra Leone today. I'm grieving with you.

To the Clark Family and All Who Love Scott:
"Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."
( "Ulysses" - Alfred Lord Tennyson)

I have turned to this poem by Tennyson many times in my own grief. I hope you find small moments of peace within.

Scotty was one of my best friends, we have had so many Awesome times together, I can even begin to count. Our friendship was priceless. From late night card games to Royals and Chiefs games we had so much fun. We talked on the phone almost every day, and of course we ate out a lot. If I needed something, Scotty was right there. There are thousands of awesome stories to share. I was truely truely blessed to have him as a close friend. I will never forget him!! May God Bless him!! Leggs
