Ann L. Glassman

Ann L. Glassman, 96, Hays, died on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Via Christi Village.

She was born October 5, 1921 in Catharine, Kansas the daughter of Peter J. and Mary (Karlin) Staab.  On June 3, 1947 she was united in marriage to Adolph Glassman at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Catharine.  They celebrated 55 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on October 5, 2002.  She was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a lifetime member of the St. Joseph Christian Mothers. 

She is survived by five children; John Glassman of Lawrence, Mary Wahlmeier of Mayetta, Sue Warrington and husband Dick of Topeka, Jim Glassman and wife Bev of Hays, and Joe Glassman and wife Linda of Catharine, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Adolph, a son-in-law; Wayne Wahlmeier, and seven brothers and three sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Catharine.  Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.   Masses or memorial contributions are designated for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hays or St. Catherine Catholic Church in care of the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine Street.  Condolences for the family and memories of Ann may be shared at www.haysmemorial.com
