Lorelei Jane “Lorre” Williams, 63, Russell, died Thursday, July 31, 2025 at HaysMed surrounded by her family.

She was born February 20, 1962 in Riverside, California the daughter of William Lowe, Sr. and Maxine (Bartholomew) Lowe.  On July 26, 1998 she was united in marriage to Rob Williams at Lake Greeson in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.  Lorre worked in hospitality services and for many years was the head cook at the Russell Senior Center.  She loved people, generously put the needs of others before her own, and had a beautiful way of bringing laughter and smiles to those around her.  She was a member of Celebration Community Church in Hays, collected pig and angel figurines, and had a special bond with animals, especially her beloved dogs.

Survivors include her husband Rob of Russell, two sons, Jed Dorris and wife Jenna of Eaton, Colorado and Travis Dorris of Russell, her brother William Lowe (Brenda) of Wichita, her sister, Cyndi Rosenhoover of Independence, five grandchildren, Hannah Dorris, Niyah Dorris, Nevin Dorris and wife Aaliyah, Ava Dorris, Daegen Dorris, and her great granddaughter, Londyn Dorris.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Celebration Community Church with Pastor Brant Rice officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at the church.  Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains, American Cancer Society, or to the American Heart Association.  Services are in the care of Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and condolences and memories of Lorre may be left for her family at www.haysmemorial.com
