Patricia A. Brown, 83, Hays, died Friday, November 6, 2020 at Ellis Good Samaritan Society.

She was born February 14, 1937 in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Howard and Dorothy (Lee) Sprague.  She graduated from high school in Manahawkin, New Jersey.  In 1954 she was united in marriage to Paul A. Brown in Barnegat, New Jersey.  He preceded her in death on October 2, 2008.  Patricia was kindhearted, putting other people’s needs before her own, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include a son: Shane Brown of Marysville, a daughter: Patti Brown of Hays, eight grandchildren: Jackalyn Brown and Cheyenne Brown, both of Hays, Caleb Snow of Norton, Joseph Brown and Heather Brown, both of Marysville, Kimberly Cazella of Manhattan, Paul Brown of Wichita, and Rebekah Schukman of Springfield, MO, and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, a son: Howard Brown, a daughter: Kathryn Brown, four brothers: Bill, Dave, Butch, and Hank Sprague, and a sister: Marion Franzius.
