Peggy Jane Raburn

Peggy Jane Raburn, 64, Hays, died Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Ellis Good Samaritan Society. 

She was born September 18, 1961, in Grant, Nebraska, the daughter of Darold and Sharon (O’Dean) Raburn.   Peggy lived in Oberlin, Kansas for many years before moving to Hays, where she spent the rest of her days.  She was an avid collector of antiques and loved to create.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sarah Desaire and husband Chris of Hays and Mackenzie Reynolds of San Antonio, Texas, five grandchildren, Jaiden, Maison, Laiken, Macie, and Kade, her sister Nancy Vasa and husband Ken of Portland, Oregon, and her brother Ted Raburn and wife Jill of Claremore, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents Darold and Sharon, grandparents Betty Mae and Emil O’Dean and Jasper and Viola Raburn, and her nephew Joshua Jones.

No services are scheduled.  Memorials are suggested for family wishes and may be made payable to Sarah Desaire.  Arrangements are in the care of Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and condolences and memories of Peggy may be left for her family at www.haysmemorial.com
