Robert Lyn “Rick” Allaman

Robert Lyn “Rick” Allaman, 75, Hays, died Friday, December 10, 2021 at HaysMed.

He was born February 18, 1946 in Goodland, the son of John Francis “Jack” and Ellen Blanche (Rains) Allaman. Rick enjoyed working as a computer networking technician for SBS/AT&T and a telephone technician at HaysMed. On February 20, 1969, he was united in marriage to Gayle Lacey, and they were married 25 years. They remained close friends after their divorce, and she survives. Rick loved his family and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and time at the lake.

Survivors include his two sons: David Allaman of Hays and Scott Allaman and wife Dianna of Lenexa and two grandchildren: Jillian and Barrett Allaman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Bradley Allaman, and two brothers: John “Jacky” Allaman and Delphin Darrel Allaman.

A family graveside service and inurnment will be at a later date in Wallace Cemetery, Wallace County. Memorials are suggested to DSNWK, in care of Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Condolences and memories of Rick may be shared with the family at www.haysmemorial.com
