TJ Reever

TJ Reever, 46, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, died Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his home from COVID-19.

He was born September 15, 1975 in Hays, Kansas the son of Richard and Janet (Myers) Reever.  TJ graduated from Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and attended Fort Hays State University.  He worked in IT security for several corporations in Kansas City, and although he called Kansas City home for 25 years, his heart was always in Hays.

Survivors include his five children who were the light of his life: Ethan, Marissa, Delilah, Payton, and Brooklyn, five siblings: Dale Reever, Traci Burney and husband Jim, Marci Handley and husband Steve, Jami Reever and husband Kim Simons, and Kyle Reever and wife Heather, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Mike Reever.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in St. Joseph Cemetery with Fr. Earl Befort officiating.  Services are entrusted to Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.  Condolences and memories of TJ may be shared with his family at www.haysmemorial.com
