Anna Jean was a welcoming presence to my daughters and me when we moved to Hays about 25 years ago. She continued to be a friendly and faithful as member of the church as long as she was able to attend. I was honored to know your mother and grandmother. We will miss her. I pray that God will comfort you in your loss.

Dear Jim,
We are sorry to hear of Anna Jean's passing. My mother, brother, and I lived next door in one of the duplexes for a couple of years, if you recall. When Bruce and I would visit Hays for reunions, I'd often visit with your mom while Bruce played golf. We shared family pictures and stories for many years. She was such a wonderful person. I'll treasure the times we spent together. We'll be thinking of you on Saturday.
