I knew Dorothy as a co-worker during her time as a speech language pathologist in the Topeka Public Schools. As many others have mentioned, her smile and enthusiasm were contagious. What a lady! I am proud to have called her my friend. My condolences to her family.

A very special lady...She was a special teacher as well as a loving Mom. I first knew her because of her two children, Chad and Heather. We became friends when she was my instructor during my Master's work at Hays. She lit up a room when she entered with her enthusiasm and caring....just a truly special and loving woman, she will be dearly missed by everyone she touched.

Dorothy and I shared our love of Fort Hays and I missed seeing her after her retirement. She always brightened up the room. She will be missed by those Whose lives she touched and that will be many.

To my beloved Mom,
Thank you for being such an amazing Mom. You taught me so many things in my life, like how to be strong and have courage, to be kind and loving. I am forever grateful for all that you shared in your short life and I will treasue every moment I was blessed to have you as my Mom. I love you forever. Your daughter, Heather
