I was so sad to hear about Uncle Ed's passing. What a warm, wonderful person he was! You would almost have to call him perky. I will miss our phone conversations. God bless you, my cousins. Love, Georgia

Our family's sympathy to you all. He was a great friend and fishing buddy to my dad. Here's to hoping there are some great fishing adventures ahead for them in Heaven.

I have so many good memories of your Dad and Mom! Ed always had a smile for me and always remembered me when I went with Dix to the care center. Rest in peace Ed!

Our prayers are with you as you grieve and God leads you to peace. Tommy has fond memories of the Dies family from his year at college in Hays. Both of us appreciate what Ed and Genie meant to Tommy's parents, Paul and Elizabeth.

I love the picture of Ed. He had an amazing, contagious smile.
I had the privilege of providing care for Ed, as a nurse with the VA until my retirement in February of this year. Ed was always so glad to see me. We had many conversations about his life as a marine and family man. He was always so upbeat and appreciated all we did for him. He was one of the VA's ambassadors. I admired his determination and resourcefulness always striving to be as independent as possible.
My sympathies to his family. He will be greatly missed.!!
